About the role
As a Process Chemist, you will support operations in a pilot plant focusing on clinical batches, laboratory work, and process development. You will work in a GMP-regulated environment where technical understanding and precision are central to the team's success. The role involves close collaboration with R&D, Quality, and Production.

Key responsibilities
The role involves varied work that combines practical laboratory work in the pilot plant with precise documentation and process optimization at the interface between development and production.
- Prepare and execute clinical batches and development batches according to instructions.
- Perform practical laboratory work, including sample preparation and material handling.
- Support process development, technical evaluations, and troubleshooting.
- Document work in protocols, batch records, and relevant quality systems.
- Collaborate with departments such as R&D, Quality Assurance, and Production.
- Participate in investigations, deviation handling, and continuous improvement activities.
- Conduct material characterization and analyses of physical properties.
Who we are looking for
- Completed university education in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory work, sample handling, or practical technical work.
- Good communication skills in both Swedish and English, both verbal and written.
- Structured and meticulous working style with an understanding of documentation requirements.
- Ability to work according to established procedures in a regulated environment.
Qualifications that are a plus
- Experience or understanding of GMP, QA, or QC.
- Knowledge of material characterization such as particle size, viscosity, or flowability.
- Previous experience from the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Interest in process understanding and technical problem-solving.
